Investigate Sydney3 Landmarks
The Dream Eater threat has spread to every corner of Sydney3! In each of the main missions, Klo will enter a unique and intimately crafted environment in search of the Dream Eater that has taken hold of the location.
These 'survival dungeons' will focus on progressing the story while combining unsettling exploration of the level with tense combat challenges that culminate in a dramatic boss battle against one of the Dream Eaters.
Hub Exploration
Between main missions, Klo will return to the S3PF Command and debrief with her partner Gabe Adams and the other personnel at the police headquarters.
Not everyone will be willing to share information about themselves, but some can be coaxed into revealing more by presenting requested items that can be found in other locations.
The S3PF Command will act as the connective tissue that allows Klo to access side missions like VRmin Hunts or the Combat Simulator challenges.
Remember to check in at the hubs regularly and keep an eye out for opportunities to learn more about the other characters.
Tactical Dismemberment
VRmin are not easy to put down and will resist most headshots. The S3PF advises officers to aim for the limbs in order to dismember and incapacitate the creatures before disposing of them.
As a detective trained by the S3PF, Klo Mitchells is proficient in most firearm types and will acquire an arsenal of weapons including; pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, grenade launchers, and more.
Despite her access to high powered weaponry, ammunition is scarce, so Klo will have to be tactical with her shots to eliminate the VRmin efficiently.
Deflect and strike with precision
Master Klo’s newly gained Unicorn abilities to deflect powerful attacks and deliver precise killing blows to VRmin.
By managing the Parasitic Gauntlet’s energy levels effectively, Unicorn can be both a lethal offensive skill and tool for quickly turning the tide of encounters that have gotten out of control.
As Klo continues her mission to stop the Dream Eaters, the Parasitic Gauntlet’s powers will evolve and she will learn to harness them in exciting, new ways.
Dream Eater Duels
Each mission in Samurai Unicorn comes to a dramatic end with a boss fight against one of the unique Dream Eaters threatening Sydney3.
Klo will need to utilise all of her skills if she wants to survive these challenging encounters. Pay attention, learn the enemy’s moves and strike back when the opening presents itself.
The Dream Eaters are the stars of each of the main missions, so coming face to face with each of them will be a climactic moment throughout the story.
VRmin Hunts
Dangerous new VRmin Abominations have been spotted in the Pitt Street Housing Complex and Captain Lennox has deployed the Heavy Response Team in hopes of eliminating the threat. Unfortunately radio contact was lost shortly after deployment.
VRmin Hunts are a series of score based missions that can be replayed after completion. Each block of VRmin Hunts are structured around 3 escalating missions that culminate in a mini-boss style encounter with a unique VRmin enemy.
These side missions are about pushing Klo’s combat skills to the limit as she embarks on a dark descent into the foundations of Sydney3 and the heart of the VRmin Plague.
